1. System Overview

With the wide application of fiber optic sensing technology to all walks of life, system device developed based on fiber optic sensing technology has already reached the requirements of practical application by prison monitoring system and practical application effect is quite satisfactory. The infill wall of prison cell can be protected via the multi-level networking mode of fiber optic perimeter system. In this way preventing internal damage such as slotting and punching for prison break or self-protection and the protection of perimeter area are combined together effectively, which can not only reinforce the real-time monitoring of perimeter area effectively, but also perform effective monitoring of the internal condition of prison cells, thus reducing the occurrence of accidental emergencies. Fiber optic perimeter platform integrates domestic mainstream network video cameras in China, so secondary development is not required; instead, the system is integrated into platform directly through network. When alarm triggers linkage, fiber optic perimeter alarm platform can control both fiber optic perimeter alarm information and video linkage image.

Management Terminal: JAN perimeter alarm system software, third-party alarm receiving platform, third-party standard-switch alarm host.

Detection Terminal: fiber optic collector of JAN-VOC-S8 fiber optic vibration sensor perimeter alarm system collector, dividing device of defense area and vibration cable of JAN-VOC-2500.

4. System Features

1The system takes ordinary communication optical cable as sensing unit. Compared with similar products, the system is featured by low cost and convenient maintenance. Long-distance and wide-range detection of perimeter defense area is achieved by virtue of the change of optical properties by external vibration.

2Flexible configuration. It can form small perimeter alarm system and constitute large alarm system as well. It can form multi-stage alarm receiving center and it can also constitute independent alarm system.

3Network-type collector adopts fiber optic relay transmission mode, which not only ensures the anti-interference and lightning protection performance of transmission but also achieves long-distance transmission.

4Network camera can transmit video signal to control room directly through network-type fiber optic vibration detection and alarm system and no additional transmission line needs to be laid for the camera.

5The farthest detection distance of every defense area is up to 1000m.

6The system adopts optical cable as potential-free detector which avoids lightning interference effectively and is suitable for inflammable and explosive areas and places with strong electromagnetic interference.

7It is applicable to all kinds of complex terrains and to detect irregular perimeter defense areas.

8Optical cable with high sensitivity can be directly laid onto all kinds of wire mesh fences, metal fences, plastic steel fences, brick walls and irregular enclosing walls and can also be buried directly under various grounds to form hidden protection system.
